Introduction
Welcome to My Winter Car! You play as the same character from My Summer Car, now living in an apartment in Peräjärvi during January 1999. Your main goals are:
- Survive the harsh Finnish winter
- Work at Futufon to earn money
- Build your Corris Rivett car
- Participate in ice racing and rally events
Your First Day
- Explore your apartment - Get familiar with your new home
- Check the temperature - Use thermometer or TV teletext
- Get dressed - Put on appropriate winter clothing
- Find transportation - Bus or walk to important locations
- Visit Teimo's shop - Buy food and supplies
Survival Basics
Body Temperature
Monitor your temperature. Dress warmly and find heat sources.
Hunger
Eat food from Teimo's shop to stay fed.
Thirst
Drink beverages to stay hydrated.
Fatigue
Sleep to restore energy and save the game.
Going to Work
Your main job is at Futufon, packaging phone chargers. This is your primary source of income.
- Work Monday through Friday
- Clock in on time to avoid penalties
- Work overtime for extra money (up to 3 hours)
- Don't skip work or you'll get fired!
Starting Your Car Project
The Corris Rivett is your main project car. You'll need to:
- Buy parts from Fleetari or the flea market
- Work in the heated garage at parents' house
- Use correct tools for each bolt size
- Take breaks to warm up
