Body temperature is critical in My Winter Car. Neglecting it can lead to death!

Body Temperature System

My Winter Car features a complex body temperature system that is crucial for survival. Your temperature is affected by multiple factors:

  • Outside Temperature - The ambient weather conditions
  • Clothing - What you're wearing affects heat retention
  • Physical Activity - Exercise generates heat but also causes sweating
  • Heat Sources - Proximity to heaters, fires, or warm buildings

Sweating Mechanic:

When you exercise or work hard, your character will sweat. This actually decreases your body temperature faster, so be careful not to overexert yourself in cold conditions.

Survival Time:

In the worst case scenario (minimal clothing, extreme cold), you can survive approximately 10-15 real-time minutes. This varies based on your clothing and the current weather conditions.

You can carry different sets of clothes and change between them on the go. This allows you to adapt to changing conditions without returning home.

Survival Tips

  • Always check the temperature before going outside (thermometer or TV teletext)
  • Keep spare clothing in your car for emergencies
  • Don't overwork yourself - sweating makes you colder faster
  • Plan your outdoor activities and know where the nearest heat source is
  • Water pipes can freeze - keep the house heated
  • The apartment in Peräjärvi is closer to work and shops
